Building expansion marks the next step

The first pile driven on 21 May 2026 marks an important milestone in the continued development of Bos Nieuwerkerk and Heat Matrix. The expansion of our facility at Hoogeveenenweg creates space for future growth and supports the ambitions of both organisations.

The occasion carried special meaning. Four generations of the Goedegebuure family were represented on site, from Ria Goedegebuure (84) to Eef Goedegebuure (10 months old). A powerful reminder of the company’s heritage and its long-term vision for the future.

For Heat Matrix, that future is centred on innovation, sustainability and collaboration. We work with customers and partners on complex challenges in heat recovery and heat integration. Supporting that requires not only technical expertise, but also an environment that encourages cooperation, knowledge sharing and continuous development.

The expansion will provide additional space for meetings, collaboration and focused work. At the same time, the facility is being modernised and made more sustainable, ensuring it supports the way we work today and in the years ahead.

We are also investing in a more inclusive workplace. One example is the addition of a dedicated changing room for women working in our technical teams. It reflects our ambition to make engineering and technology accessible to an increasingly diverse group of professionals.

The project is part of Lekker Werken (“Enjoy Working”), a joint programme of Bos Nieuwerkerk and Heat Matrix focused on job satisfaction, wellbeing and personal development. Because sustainable growth is not only driven by technology, but above all by the people behind it.
